Description
The Oconee County Board of Commissioners is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to repair two bridges in Oconee County. The bridges are located on Simonton Bridge Road at Middle Oconee River and Barnett Shoals Road at Oconee River. The scope of work includes cleaning and painting beams and bearings, repairing scour, repairing spalling, and replacing expansion joint seams. The contractor must be GDOT pre-certified and must submit a bid bond and a Consent of Surety. The successful bidder will be required to pay sales and use tax on materials purchased or used on this project.
