Description
The City of Missoula is seeking qualified general contractors to serve as Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) for the design‑build of a new Fire Station 6. The project will be a single‑story, ~12,000 sq ft facility on a two‑acre site, housing office, residential quarters, and four apparatus bays. Budget is $12‑14 million, with construction anticipated to begin September 2027. The RFQ is the first stage of a two‑stage procurement; successful firms will be invited to submit a detailed RFP later in 2026. The CMGC will be responsible for pre‑construction collaboration, cost estimating, value engineering, risk management, subcontractor procurement, guaranteed‑maximum‑price negotiation, construction administration, schedule control, safety, quality assurance, and two‑year warranty. Submissions (SOQs) are limited to one PDF ≤30 MB, due 3 p.m. MT on 19 Oct 2026.
