REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) FOR GENERAL CONTRACTOR SERVICES

The Chicago Park District (CPD) is seeking experienced general contractors to submit their qualifications for possible inclusion in the General Contractor Services pre-qualified pool. The pool has two categories of work: New Construction/Renovation and Playground Construction. Pre-qualified firms will provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and services to complete projects in accordance with the terms and conditions of this RFQ. The CPD is looking for firms with experience in construction projects, financial solvency, and the ability to perform at least 15% of the contracted work. • The CPD is seeking general contractors with experience in construction projects, including new construction, renovation, and playground construction. • Firms must have the City of Chicago General Contractor’s License of the appropriate class and any other required licenses and certifications. • Pre-qualified firms will be required to provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and services to complete projects. • The CPD is looking for firms with financial solvency and the ability to perform at least 15% of the contracted work.
