Request for Qualifications (RFQ) From Class B Contractors (City of Oroville Housing Rehabilitation Program)

The City of Oroville is seeking qualified Class B contractors to perform construction services related to housing rehabilitation work funded by the City's Housing Rehabilitation Program. The program is currently in progress, and bid opportunities will occur soon. Contractors will be placed on a prequalified bid list and will receive invitations to bid on rehab projects as they become available. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, detached single-family dwellings. Contractors must participate in onsite bid walks, organize and coordinate rehab construction work, and execute construction contracts with property owners. They must also be capable of compliance with Federal and/or State prevailing wage criteria/requirements. • The RFQ will remain open and active until retracted. • All SOQs must be signed, dated, and submitted in PDF format via email. • Contractors must provide specific information, including business name, office and mailing addresses, email address, company profile, and CA contractor license number. • Contractors must have experience with residential construction and be able to provide references for construction projects completed within the past 2 years. • The City of Oroville reserves the right to retract the RFQ at any time.
