NFS 26-055 On-Call Housing Rehabilitation

The City of Avondale is seeking contractors to provide professional home rehabilitation and/or maintenance contracting services. The selected contractors will be added to a prequalified contractors list and will be invited to submit quotations for individual projects. The scope of work for each project will be developed by the City and may include minor repairs, major repairs, or maintenance. The contractors must meet the minimum qualifications and requirements outlined in the RFQ, including having a current contractor's license, being financially stable, and having adequate experience and qualifications. • The City will use federal and/or general funding sources, including the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and the HOME Investment Partnerships Program. • The contractors must comply with applicable laws, City codes, and ordinances, as well as the Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Standards. • The City will conduct a pre-construction conference for each rehabilitation project, and the awarded contractor will perform the work in accordance with the contract documents and specifications. • The City reserves the right to exclude any contractor from consideration if they have been assessed liquidated damages, have had any contract terminated for non-compliance, or have any pending, unresolved, or valid complaints with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors.
