Description
The Tabernacle Board of Education is soliciting sealed bids to provide student transportation services for the 2026‑2027 school year. The contract will run from September 1 through June 30, covering all routes for enrolled public and private school students, chaperones, and school personnel. Bidders must comply with New Jersey statutes, provide appropriate insurance and performance guarantees, and submit detailed driver and vehicle documentation. The Board may reject any or all bids, and the successful contractor will be treated as an independent contractor.
• Provide safe, reliable bus service following prescribed route descriptions; vehicles cannot be used for other purposes during scheduled times.
• Meet driver and aide qualifications, including background checks, tuberculosis testing, and required training twice per year.
• Maintain required insurance (minimum $1.5 million combined single limit) and submit bid and performance bonds (5 % guarantee, up to $50,000; performance bond equal to the annual contract amount).
• Submit all required forms (bid sheet, questionnaires, affirmative‑action documentation, non‑collusion affidavit, etc.) by July 15, 2026 12:00 PM to the Business Office at 132 New Road, Tabernacle, NJ 08088.
