USDA; HF ALE Radio Systems

The USDA is seeking a contractor to provide test, maintenance, and training services for its High Frequency (HF) Automatic Link Establishment (ALE) radio systems. The contractor will be responsible for conducting annual on-site physical inspections and maintenance of the HF ALE systems, making system configuration changes as needed, and providing training to system operators. The contract will be a firm fixed price contract with a base period of 12 months and four option periods of 12 months each. The contractor must have experience with CODAN and DATRON brand radios and be certified to perform component level maintenance, installation, operation, and training on the devices. • The contractor will provide annual on-site physical inspections and maintenance of the HF ALE systems. • The contractor will make system configuration changes as needed to maintain optimum system performance. • The contractor will provide training to system operators. • The contractor will respond to system outages and degradations within 1 business day. • The contractor will provide remote and/or hands-on system operator training.
