KIPP Academy Boston is requesting proposals for painting services at KIPP Academy Boston Elementary and Middle School. The scope of work includes interior painting of various surfaces, preparation of surfaces, application of paint, and protection of non-painted areas. The project must be completed within a tight timeline, from Monday, June 29 to Friday, July 24. The selected contractor must carry certain insurance policies and provide a warranty for the work.
• The project includes painting of entry ways, hallways, classrooms, cafeteria, gym, stairwells, columns, administrative offices, window and door frames, and bathrooms.
• The contractor must prepare all surfaces for painting, apply one to two coats of paint, and protect non-painted areas.
• The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the job.
• The contractor must provide a warranty for the work and carry certain insurance policies.
