Budget estimate

$180,000 – $190,000

The engineer’s estimate lists a total bid amount of $183,775, which serves as the contract’s estimated value. Assuming the contractor receives the full award amount and that typical profit margins for municipal storm‑drain projects range from 8‑12 %, the expected earnings would fall roughly between $180 k and $190 k. Factors influencing the final budget include any change‑order work, retained percentages, and compliance penalties.
