Description
The City of Waycross is seeking proposals for the cleaning of a 60-ft diameter digester at their wastewater treatment facility. The work includes cleaning accumulated sludge, grit, and sand, as well as de-watering and disposal of residuals. The project is funded by the GEFA Clean Water SRF Program and requires compliance with applicable state and federal bid laws.
• The proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier’s check in an amount not less than 5% of the base price proposal.
• The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
• The city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
• The proposal must be submitted by 2:30 PM on Thursday, November 20th, 2025.
• The city is looking for a qualified contractor to complete the work, and the proposal will be evaluated on both qualitative and quantitative measures.
