Description
The State Highway Administration (SHA) is seeking bids for roadside litter pickup services in Dorchester County. The contract will be for a one-year period, with no option periods. The contractor will be responsible for providing litter pickup services, including removal of trash, litter, and debris, and clearing debris from inlet grates along the shoulder. The contractor must have three years of experience providing similar services and must be fully licensed to perform work in the State of Maryland.
• The contractor will be paid a fixed price per 8-hour working day.
• The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and personnel to perform the work.
• The contractor must have a minimum of four laborers, including one foreman and three crew members.
• The contractor must provide wireless communication to their crew for communication between the Contract Manager and the Foreman.
