Air Compressor Preventive Maintenance and Emergency Repair Services for Sterile Processing Department (SPD)

The County of San Mateo is seeking proposals for Air Compressor Preventive Maintenance and Emergency Repair Services for the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) at San Mateo Medical Center. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing preventive maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and emergency service for the air compressor supporting SPD operations. The scope of work includes routine preventive maintenance, emergency repair response, replacement of worn components as needed, and recommendations to maintain operational reliability and minimize disruptions to SPD operations. • The air compressor supports equipment utilized for instrument reprocessing, including decontamination sinks, washers, cart washer, and endoscope drying cabinets. • The vendor must have demonstrated experience providing preventive maintenance and emergency repair services for industrial air compressors, with a minimum of 3 years of experience servicing healthcare, sterile processing, laboratory, or similar critical operational environments. • The vendor must be licensed, insured, and authorized to perform work in California. • The vendor must provide emergency response service and have a plan for achieving performance measures.
