Description
The Maryland Department of Health is seeking applications from Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), hospitals, and providers of prenatal care to develop and implement programs that reduce barriers to timely prenatal care and enhance the quality and responsiveness of prenatal care. The program aims to support innovative approaches to improve prenatal care, particularly for high-risk populations. The selected applicants will receive funding for a period of 24 months, starting from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2028. The program will focus on reducing delays in entry to care, improving care coordination, and enhancing the overall quality of prenatal care.
• The program will support up to four awards, with a total budget of $1,639,640 for the two-year period.
