Description

The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) is issuing a Discovery Gateway to Reproductive Health Innovation, a web‑based, open‑access knowledgebase that will integrate clinical, pharmacogenomic, and multi‑omic data on male and female reproductive conditions (e.g., preeclampsia, endometriosis, preterm birth, infertility, uterine fibroids). The Gateway aims to close critical knowledge gaps, identify disease mechanisms, biomarkers, and drug targets, and accelerate public‑private partnerships for new treatments. Applicants will develop and sustain the platform, curate data, create visualization tools, and ensure broad accessibility for the biomedical research community. • Target area: reproductive health research (both sexes). • Deliverable: a publicly accessible, web‑based data integration and visualization platform. • Funding instrument: NIH grant (RFA). • Estimated submission deadline: 01 Oct 2027; award expected 01 Jul 2028; project start 01 Jul 2028. • Eligible applicants: wide range including federal, state, tribal, nonprofit, for‑profit, and foreign entities. • No cost‑sharing required.
