RFQ for Rear Load Refuse Truck

The City of West Fargo Public Works Department is requesting quotes for one Rear Load Refuse Truck. The truck should be a new current year model, with a minimum of $500,000.00 product liability coverage by the manufacturer and minimum of $500,000.00 liability coverage by the product installers. The truck should have a curved design roof and sides, a floor with a minimum thickness of 7 gauge 100,000 PSI steel, and a side access door with a ladder attached if needed. The tailgate should be hinged at the top of the body, hydraulically raised, and have a restriction system to prevent it from releasing uncontrollably in the event of a malfunction. The truck should also have a camera system, air conditioning, heat, and defrost, as well as electrically adjusted mirrors and a two-way radio.
