J065--Sources Sought Notice - Yag Laser Service Maintenance Agreement

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources for a maintenance service agreement for a Lumenis SLT Selecta Duet Yag Laser. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repair services for the laser, which is used in ophthalmology services at the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Healthcare System in Harlingen, Texas. The contract will have a base period of one year, with the option to extend for up to four additional years. The contractor will be required to provide certified and qualified technicians to perform the necessary work, and will need to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to records management and information security. Key responsibilities will include: • Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs • Providing technical support and help desk services • Maintaining accurate records of all work performed • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations • Coordinating with the point of contact to schedule all work and ensure that all necessary procedures are followed.
