Description
The City of LaFayette, Georgia is seeking bids for the construction of a 24-inch water transmission main from Glass Mill Road to Rock Spring Pump Station. The project includes furnishing and installing water mains, valves, fire hydrants, and other appurtenances. The bids will be received and evaluated separately for each division, and the successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond. The project will be funded by the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority and local funds.
* The project consists of three divisions: Division I, Division II, and Division III, each with its own set of requirements and specifications.
* The successful bidder will be required to certify compliance with all applicable state and federal laws regarding maintaining a drug-free workplace and equal employment opportunity.
* The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any and all technicalities or informalities.
* The project includes all related piping, appurtenances, stake-out, anchors, pipe supports, site grading, grassing, landscaping, erosion control, and other incidentals required for construction, testing, and start-up for providing complete and functioning water infrastructure.
