Description
The Tattnall County Board of Commissioners is soliciting bids for the repair of Hillview Road in Tattnall County. The project involves excavating the existing roadbed, installing concrete culverts, building culvert headwalls, rebuilding the roadbed, and replacing base and paving. The contractor will be responsible for providing fill material, compacting the area, and placing advanced warning signs. The project must be completed within 30 calendar days of notice to proceed.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Installing (6) 48-inch diameter concrete culverts
• Building culvert headwalls/riprap outlet projection in accordance with GDOT Standards
• Rebuilding the roadbed and replacing base and paving
• Grading, including roadbed, shoulders, and ditches
• Paving with 8” graded aggregate base, 2” 19mm mix asphalt, and 1.5” 12.5mm mix asphalt
• Striping with solid white lines on edge and solid or skip double yellow lines in the center
