26-040 17th Avenue Sidewalk Improvements

The City of Pensacola is seeking bids for the 17th Avenue Sidewalk Improvements Project. The project includes demolition of pavement, excavation, cut/fill, concrete paving, construction of curb/gutter, installation of formwork, placement of asphalt, adjustment of water meter boxes, valve boxes, cleanouts, and other utility enclosures, placement of thermoplastic pavement markings, adjustment or relocation of existing landscaping, and sodding. The project has a 30 calendar-day completion goal following Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder will be required to provide all necessary materials, equipment, machinery, tools, apparatus, and labor to complete the project. Key aspects of the project include: • Demolition and removal of existing pavement and sidewalks • Construction of new sidewalks, curbs, and gutters • Placement of asphalt and thermoplastic pavement markings • Adjustment or relocation of existing utility enclosures • Sodding and landscaping The City of Pensacola reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to award bids on a split-order basis by item number, to waive any minor bid irregularities, technicalities, or informalities, and to re-advertise for bids when deemed in the best interest of the City of Pensacola.
