Sodium Bisulfite Bulk Delivery

The St. Tammany Parish Government is seeking a vendor to supply and deliver Sodium Bisulfite (NaHSO3) in a 40% liquid solution for dechlorination purposes to multiple wastewater treatment facilities throughout the parish. The contract will be awarded on a unit price, "as needed" basis, with no minimum order quantity. The vendor will be responsible for delivering the product to various locations within the parish, with a required delivery time of 48 hours for regular deliveries and 24 hours for emergency deliveries. The parish estimates an annual delivery of 56,000 pounds of Sodium Bisulfite. • The vendor must provide a product that meets the specified chemical requirements, including a pH range of 3.5-5.0. • The vendor must ensure that all deliveries are made with a Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) tank truck with an onboard compressor. • The vendor must be responsible for the immediate cleanup of any spills or overflows and notify the parish staff in case of an event. • The vendor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws, municipal ordinances, and rules and regulations. • The contract term will be from the date of the notice to proceed until December 31, 2026, with the option for two one-year renewals.
