Description
The Town of Carlisle is soliciting bids for the interior renovation of the Gleason Public Library, located at 22 Bedford Road, Carlisle, MA. The project involves the renovation of approximately 12,875 square feet of existing library space, including demolition, construction, and associated changes to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The estimated value of construction is $1,711,000. DCAMM certification is required, and bidders must provide a DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed Update Statement with their electronic bid.
• The project includes the renovation of the library's interior spaces, including the demolition of an existing single-story open stair and the construction of a new single-story stair.
• The project also includes the expansion of existing mechanical and electrical rooms, new accessible toilet rooms, and the renovation of existing toilet rooms.
• The existing library will be unoccupied throughout construction.
• Bidders must comply with minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.
