Glades Wastewater Treatment Facility Expansion Owner's Agent

The City of Port St. Lucie is seeking a qualified firm to provide Owner's Agent services for the Glades Wastewater Treatment Facility Expansion project. The selected firm will assist the City in defining design-build project objectives, managing owner expectations, and developing the procurement plan, schedule, and cost estimation. The firm will also provide comprehensive design review, on-site inspection of construction activities, and review and approval of payments and construction-related submittals. The project involves the expansion of the existing 12 MGD Glades Westwater Treatment Facility to 18 MGD, with a potential for 24 MGD. The scope of work includes planning, design, permitting, construction, and other services to deliver a 'turnkey' project. Some key aspects of the project include: • Assisting in defining design-build project objectives and priorities • Managing owner expectations and developing the procurement plan, schedule, and cost estimation • Providing comprehensive design review and on-site inspection of construction activities • Reviewing and approving payments and construction-related submittals • Participating in progress meetings and serving as a project advisor to the Owner • Overseeing the construction contract process with monitoring and administration • Assisting with the close-out of the project and warranty books and punch list items
