2020 Broad Agency Announcement

The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) has issued a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for various research and development topic areas. The ERDC consists of several laboratories, including the Coastal and Hydraulics Lab, Geotechnical and Structures Lab, Environmental Lab, and Information Technology Lab. The BAA is open until superseded by another announcement, and proposals may be accepted at any time. The ERDC is responsible for conducting research in broad fields such as hydraulics, dredging, coastal engineering, and more. Key areas of research include: • Hydraulics and coastal engineering • Geotechnical engineering and earthquake engineering • Environmental engineering and ecology • Information technology and computer science • Materials and structures engineering • Military engineering and vehicle mobility The ERDC encourages proposals from Historically Black Colleges and Universities, small businesses, and other eligible entities. Proposals should clearly identify the research area and topic, and include a detailed description of the proposed research, its objectives, and its expected outcomes.
