General Construction/Renovation

The Northview Public Schools of Grand Rapids, Michigan, is seeking trade contractors for the general construction and renovation of East Oakview Elementary School. The project involves various construction and renovation work, and bidders must submit their proposals via BuildingConnected before the deadline. The selected bidder will be required to provide bid security, performance bonds, and labor and material payment bonds. The project is expected to start in June 2026 and be substantially completed by July 27, 2027. • The bidder must provide a sworn statement disclosing any familial relationship with the owner(s) or employees of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education or the Superintendent of the School District. • The bidder must provide an Iran Economic Sanctions Act Certification. • The bidder must provide a signed and notarized Criminal Background Affidavit, Non-Collusive Affidavit, Legal Status of Bidder Affidavit, and a signed Equal Opportunity Form. • The bidder must indicate the cost of performance and labor and material payment bonds covering 100% of the value of the project.
