Description
The Niles Community Schools is seeking bids for roof improvements at the Ballard Elementary school. The project involves leaving the existing asphalt built-up roof in place, cleaning the surface, and installing a new 2” base layer of insulation, a tapered insulation system, and a 45 mil fleece-back KEE roofing membrane. The contractor will also be required to provide a 20-year no dollar limit warranty. The project requires a 5% bid bond, and the successful bidder will need to provide performance bonds, labor and material bonds, and certificates of liability and worker’s compensation insurance.
