1475 Rosita Road Slope and Sharp Park Road V-Ditch Stabilization Projects

The City of Pacifica is inviting bids for the 1475 Rosita Road Slope and Sharp Park Road V-Ditch Stabilization Projects. The project consists of two parts: the 1475 Rosita Road Slope Stabilization project and the Sharp Park Road V-Ditch Stabilization Project. The 1475 Rosita Road Slope Stabilization project involves removing landslide debris and replacing it with a geogrid reinforced engineered compacted fill slope. The Sharp Park Road V-Ditch Stabilization Project involves removing approximately 50 feet of undermined concrete lined V-ditch and replacing it with a new 50-foot section of concrete retaining wall/V-ditch. The key features of the project include: * Location: 1475 Rosita Road and Sharp Park Road, Pacifica, CA * Engineer's Opinion of Probable Costs: approximately $290,000 for 1475 Rosita Road and $200,000 for Sharp Park V-Ditch * Completion of Work: all work shall be completed within 50 working days for Rosita Road and 40 working days for Sharp Park Road * Procurement of Bidding Documents: bidding documents contain the full description of the work and can be accessed through the City's eProcurement portal * Instructions: bidders shall refer to Document 00 2113 (Instructions to Bidders) for required documents and items to be submitted * Pre-Bid Site Visit and Meeting: the City will not conduct a pre-bid meeting Some of the key requirements for bidders include: * A California class "A" contractor's license is required to bid this contract * Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this contract * The City shall accept bids only from bidders that are currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5 * Bidders must submit bids on all bid items, including any alternates * The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work
