Description
The South Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking a single vendor to fabricate and deliver custom steel bridge components for District 2, including pipe‑to‑timber pile connectors, H‑pile splice plates, and top plates. The work is purely fabrication and delivery; installation is not required. Quantities are fixed, and the vendor must provide a sample of each splice type for testing prior to full production. Delivery must occur within 30 days of purchase order issuance, and the contract runs for one year with possible automatic renewals.
• 125 × 12‑inch pipe‑to‑timber connectors, 75 × 14‑inch connectors
• 50 × 10‑inch H‑pile splicers and 100 × 12‑inch H‑pile splicers (sample required for fit testing)
• 200 × 15 × 15 inch steel top plates (3/8‑inch thick, 7/8‑inch bolt holes)
• Fixed‑price, firm‑price contract; no taxes included in bid; electronic payment via EFT; 2 % withholding for non‑resident vendors.
