The City of Salina is seeking qualified contractors to apply high‑performance industrial coatings to the North Ohio Street overpass bridge and associated structures. The work includes comprehensive surface preparation, application of specified epoxy primers and fluoropolymer or water‑borne finish coats, and a one‑year post‑completion inspection. This project demands strict adherence to SSPC/NACE cleaning standards, detailed documentation, and coordination with railroad owners.
• Scope covers steel fencing, light poles, concrete barriers, rail components, and related electrical fixtures.
• Required coating system: Tnemec epoxy primers (Series N69, 151‑1051) and fluoropolymer or modified‑waterborne finishes (Series 1071, 156).
• Surface preparation includes abrasive blasting (3,500‑5,000 psi), power‑tool cleaning, and special cleaning for woven‑wire mesh.
• Contractor must submit manufacturer data sheets, safety data sheets, shop drawings, color samples, and QA reports before work begins, and participate in a one‑year warranty inspection.
