Description
The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to repaint and protect the North Ohio Overpass structures, including bridge fencing, light poles, concrete barriers, and railroad rail sections, using specified high‑performance epoxy and fluoropolymer coatings. The work must meet SSPC and NACE surface‑preparation standards, include hazardous‑waste containment, and be completed by the revised schedule of October 15 2027 (substantial) and November 12 2027 (final). The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder after a formal bid opening.
• Scope covers surface preparation, priming, and finishing of metal and concrete components with Tnemec® Series N69, 1071, 151‑1051, 156, and 1078 products.
• Contractor must provide quality‑assurance submittals, attend a pre‑application meeting with the City and two railroads, and support a one‑year post‑completion inspection.
• All work must comply with environmental and safety regulations, including proper disposal of non‑lead paint residues.
