Description
The City of Salina is seeking qualified contractors to paint the North Ohio Overpass (Project 26007). The scope includes surface preparation, application of high‑performance Tnemec coating systems to bridge fencing, lighting fixtures, light poles, concrete barriers, and railroad rail, as well as containment and disposal of non‑lead paint residues. The contract will be awarded on a unit‑price basis, with final payment based on actual quantities measured on‑site. The work must be substantially completed by 15 Oct 2027 and fully completed by 12 Nov 2027.
• Painting of bridge fencing, lighting fixtures, poles, concrete barriers, and rail using specified Tnemec epoxy, fluoropolymer, and water‑borne acrylate systems.
• Mandatory surface preparation to SSPC/NACE standards and strict environmental controls (non‑lead paint, proper waste disposal).
• Required documentation includes manufacturer data sheets, QA certificates, color samples, pre‑application meeting minutes, field quality‑control reports, and a one‑year post‑completion inspection.
