FIGG Testing

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, is seeking a sole-source contract for FIGG testing services. The contractor must have the capability to perform various types of DNA testing, including forensic NGS technologies, whole genome sequencing, and SNP array. The contractor must also be able to provide genealogy services, including upload to GEDmatch and Family Tree DNA. The government intends to award the contract without competition, citing the authority of 10 USC 2304(c) (1), Only One Responsible Source. • Validated and up to date forensic NGS technologies • FIGG testing for genealogy • Software program that can resolve mixtures • Enhanced techniques for fired cartridge casings collections and extractions • Rootless hair extractions • Wet Vacuum DNA collection tool • Evidence screening and extraction • NGS testing, including whole genome mtDNA and STR testing • Genealogy services, including upload to GEDmatch and Family Tree DNA
