The City of Seaside is seeking a qualified design‑build contractor to replace and upgrade the heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning (HVAC) systems and associated support infrastructure for the Seaside Civic & Convention Center. The scope includes full engineering design, permitting, demolition of existing equipment, procurement and installation of new HVAC units, controls, ductwork, fire‑sprinkler modifications, and commissioning. Mandatory attendance at the pre‑proposal conference on August 24 2026 is required; additional site‑inspection dates are offered but not mandatory. The contract will be awarded in late November 2026, with an anticipated construction period of about one year.
