U.S. Embassy Sofia PDS Annual Program Statement

The U.S. Embassy Sofia Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) is accepting proposals for programs that strengthen the U.S.-Bulgaria partnership and advance U.S. administration priorities. Proposals should include a clear U.S. element, promote shared interests, and support Bulgaria as a sovereign, resilient, and economically strong partner. Priority areas include Freedom250, American leadership and innovation, education and exchanges, strong alliances, and entrepreneurship. Eligible applicants include registered not-for-profit organizations, individuals, non-profit or governmental educational institutions, and foreign public entities. • The proposed project should address one or more of the priority areas. • The project should include a clear U.S. element and promote shared interests. • The project should support Bulgaria as a sovereign, resilient, and economically strong partner. • The applicant should demonstrate experience in executing programs and a proven track record of success. • The proposal should include a detailed work plan, expected outcomes, and performance indicators.
