Tree Trimming Services

The City of Long Beach is seeking proposals to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to perform scheduled and emergency tree trimming services, including tree trimming, removal, planting, inventory, and stump grinding for properties maintained by the City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreations and Marine. The contract will be for a period of two years with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods. The City aims to enhance the health and longevity of its urban canopy, ensuring a sustainable and aesthetically pleasing environment. • Tree trimming and pruning to enhance tree health, aesthetics, and public safety • Tree removal and stump grinding to eliminate hazardous or dead trees • Tree planting to support urban forestry initiatives • Tree inventory and assessment to ensure proper management and planning • Regular maintenance work shall be performed Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding recognized holidays • Emergency services may be required outside of these hours and must be addressed promptly to ensure public safety
