Description
The U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command (MSC) at Norfolk seeks a qualified service provider to perform pre‑delivery inspection, safety certification, and maintenance on a fleet of Hyster electric forklifts (MHE). The contractor must use Hyster‑approved diagnostic laptops and software, adjust four‑wheel braking systems, conduct comprehensive visual, operational, electrical, and hydraulic inspections, perform necessary repairs, and issue three required CDRL reports for each unit. Work is performed ashore at Building LP‑26, Naval Station Norfolk, with a period of performance from 18 Sep 2026 to 17 Sep 2027. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price, single‑award RFQ; only firms with access to Hyster proprietary hardware/software and experience with NAVSEA safety certification are eligible.
