The City of Toccoa is seeking a qualified, Georgia‑licensed contractor to remove 358 existing historic theatre seats and install 358 new, custom‑fabricated, ADA‑compliant, historically‑sensitive fixed auditorium chairs in the Ritz Theatre. The work must adhere to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Historic Properties, include full documentation, warranties, and spare‑parts inventory, and be completed within a very tight installation window.
• Removal of all existing chairs, breaking anchor bolts and patching floors as needed.
• Supply, custom‑fabricate, and install 358 new fixed seats meeting detailed material, fire‑rating, upholstery (Valdese Banks Red Gothic), and self‑rising mechanism specifications.
• Provide extensive submittals (product data, LEED‑MR credit documentation, shop drawings, warranty manuals) and coordinate with city officials, the Fox Gives grant program, and other trades on‑site.
• Deliver four sealed, hard‑copy bid packages by the deadline; maintain a 30‑day irrevocable offer period; commence work by March 30 2026 and finish installation by April 16 2026, with final contract close‑out by June 1 2026.
