Description
Caldwell County is seeking a qualified engineering firm for the Preliminary Engineering Report (PER), Design, and Construction Services for the Foothills Regional Airport Industrial Sewer Project. The project involves installing public sanitary sewer to the Foothills Regional Airport and the surrounding 1,054 acres owned by the airport authority. The selected firm will be required to provide a PER that includes a project description, drawings and layouts, feasibility analysis, permits and approvals, environmental considerations, construction cost estimate, and schedule. The firm will also be required to provide design and construction services if funding is secured.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Providing a Preliminary Engineering Report that meets the County's requirements
• Demonstrating experience with similar projects, including EDA-funded projects
• Having a team with adequate staff, proposed team, and project manager
• Providing labor rates, travel costs, and a list of reimbursables not covered by overhead
• Meeting the evaluation criteria, which includes experience, work performance, capacity to perform, and other factors
