Description
The Town of Coventry is seeking a qualified vendor to supply one used industrial forklift that meets specific age, capacity, lift‑height, fuel, tire, hour‑range, and side‑shift requirements. The forklift must be delivered (including shipping) after July 1 2026, once funding is available, and the vendor must provide a 5 % bid bond and a certificate of insurance after award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified bid.
• Required forklift: 8,000–12,000 lb capacity, 8–16 ft lift, propane‑fuel, pneumatic tires, 1,500–3,000 hours, side‑shaft, includes forks.
• Vendor must submit a hard‑copy bid package (original + 2 copies) by May 27 2026 10:00 a.m. at the Town Clerk’s Office, with required forms, COI, and bid bond.
• Delivery cannot occur before July 1 2026; the town will cover shipping costs as quoted.
• Award will be announced within 30 days of bid opening, and the vendor must provide insurance (CGL $1M per occurrence) and indemnify the town.
