6525--CT Scanner Power Injection System

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Altoona VA Medical Center, is seeking potential sources capable of providing a CT Scanner Contrast Power Injection System. The current system has reached end of life, and the medical center requires a new system with the newest technology. The contractor shall provide delivery of a complete Power Injection System and all related installation to make the system fully ready for patient use. The system should meet specific salient characteristics, including power injectors, informatics ready platform, and automated data capture. • The system should be designed for complex contrast enhanced CT protocols. • The system should create a tight contrast bolus and enable precisely timed contrast delivery. • The system should provide more uniform attenuation of the right and left ventricles and minimize artifacts. • The system should have an informatics ready platform, enabling interconnectivity between the CT scanner, power injector, PACS, RIS, and speech recognition systems. • The system should have storage and recall of up to 250 protocols and an enhanced protocol manager.
