Description
The Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single Award Contract for the rental of one (1) 800 cfm Air Compressor and one (1) 930 cfm minimum Regenerative Air Dryer Unit. The required items are for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR subpart 12.1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The contractor shall supply POC’s information (name and phone number) on the equipment, deliver and pick up air compressors at Naval Operating Base (NOB) Norfolk, Norfolk, Virginia, and provide any material that is required for proper operation of the air compressors and/or regenerative air dryers and accessory equipment throughout the rental period at no extra cost.
• The air compressors shall provide at least 800 cubic feet a minute (CFM) at 125 psig and shall be of an oil-free, rotary screw design delivering Grade “D” air per CGA G-7.1 or oil-free air per ISO 8573-1 Class 0.
• The regenerative air dryer units shall be capable of handling at least 930 cubic feet a minute (CFM) at 125 psig and shall be electrically powered, suitable for 110/120 VAC, 1-phase, 60HZ.
• The contractor shall provide 24 hours a day, seven-days a week on-call repair service during the rental period at no additional charge.
• The contractor shall provide engineering drawings or sketches showing the general arrangement of the air compressors and regenerative air dryer units.
