Description
The Shelby County Board of Education (Memphis‑Shelby County Schools) seeks a qualified vendor to deliver full‑service network structured‑cabling solutions for its K‑12 schools, libraries and other district facilities. The contract is a fixed‑price, one‑year award with two optional one‑year renewals, and it is non‑ERATE (no federal E‑Rate funding). The scope includes design, site‑survey, installation of Category 6/6a copper and OM4/OS2 fiber, termination, testing, documentation, labeling, warranty support, and rapid‑response repair/maintenance. Vendor must staff at least one BICSI‑RCDD, two BICSI‑certified installers, and a licensed Master Electrician located in Shelby County, maintain a local office within 100 mi of the district office, and meet extensive industry standards (TIA/EIA‑568, BICSI, NEC, etc.). The district expects roughly 2,500 network drops per year, >100 installation projects, and >200 service‑request tickets annually. Pricing will be submitted via a unit‑price schedule; the award will be based on a weighted evaluation (35 % experience, 15 % compliance, 40 % cost, 5 % references, 5 % financial stability).
