Description
The Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department is seeking qualified firms to provide routine engineering services for drainage projects. The selected firms will be eligible for award of routine drainage contracts for a two-year period. The scope of work includes project evaluation, project design, drafting of technical plans, development of technical specifications, and construction administration. The firms must have at least one principal who is a professional engineer registered in the State of Louisiana and a professional in charge of the project who is also a professional engineer with at least five years of experience. The firms will be evaluated based on their professional training and experience, size of firm, capacity for timely completion of work, past performance, location of principal office, and prior successful completion of similar projects.
• The total engineering fee for each assignment will not exceed $500,000.
• The firms will be compensated on an hourly rate basis or a fixed fee basis, depending on the scope and complexity of the work.
• The firms must submit a Statement of Qualifications, including all required documents and information, by the deadline.
• The selected firms will be required to provide proof of insurance and affidavits prior to contract approval.
