The State of North Carolina is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Small Package Delivery Services in collaboration with the NASPO ValuePoint cooperative purchasing program. The purpose of this RFP is to establish one or more Master Agreements with qualified Carriers to provide door-to-door delivery services. The scope of this RFP includes shipping individual, smaller parcels that are not palletized and are handled individually by Contractors. • The RFP is for small package delivery services, which refers to shipping individual, smaller parcels. • Less-than-truckload (LTL) and full truckload (FTL) are outside of the scope of this RFP. • The selected Carrier(s) will provide door-to-door delivery services to Participating Entities. • The RFP is being issued in collaboration with the NASPO ValuePoint cooperative purchasing program.
