Mural Request: Call to Artists

The Fayetteville Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is seeking a professional muralist or muralist team to submit qualifications and interest in designing and installing an exterior mural in downtown Fayetteville's Main Street district. The selected artist will be required to provide proof of liability insurance coverage and name the City of Fayetteville and Fayetteville DDA as Additional Insured. The artist must have a portfolio that includes large-scale public art projects and a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience as a practicing artist. • The project involves designing and installing an exterior mural in downtown Fayetteville's Main Street district. • The selected artist will be paid in three installments: $8,000 upon completion and approval of the final design, $10,000 at the beginning of the installation phase, and $7,000 upon successful completion of the project. • The artist must submit an artist statement, current resume, supporting works, and a conceptual sketch as part of their application. • The city reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all irregularities or informality in a proposal.
