Description
San José State University is commissioning a permanent, historic‑landmark mural titled “Never Again is Now!” to commemorate Japanese American incarceration during WWII. The university seeks an experienced individual artist or artist team to design, fabricate, and install the mural at Yoshihiro Uchida Hall on the main campus. Proposals must include artistic concepts, cost breakdown, maintenance plan, and portfolio evidence. The selection process involves a bid walk, Q&A period, multiple evaluation rounds, finalist interviews, and final presentations. The contract will be awarded mid‑2027 with work expected to be completed shortly thereafter.
