Description
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is seeking to purchase a 2-seat towing/baggage tractor that meets specific requirements. The tractor should have a minimum overall length of 118”, a minimum overall width of 57”, and a minimum height of 63”. It should also have a minimum GVW of 7830 lbs and a load capacity of not less than 44,092 lbs. The engine should be a Kubota WG2503 4-stroke overhead cam (OHC) 4-cylinder liquid-cooled engine or equivalent. The transmission should be a Graziano PST2 powershift automatic transmission with 1 forward and 1 reverse gear. The tractor should also have hydrostatic power steering, hydraulic assisted power braking, and a disc brake with dual braking system. The seat and upholstery should be 2-seats with seat belts, bucket type, and vinyl upholstery. The exterior should be white paint (RAL 9016) on the cab and dark grey (RAL 7024) on the doors. The tractor should also have flashing beacons, hitch pintles, and instrument cluster/gauges. The delivery date should not exceed 180 days from the date the bid is awarded.
