WWTP SLUDGE CAKE REMOVAL

The Town of Guilderland is seeking a contractor to provide sludge cake removal and disposal services for the Guilderland Wastewater Treatment Plant. The contractor will be responsible for hauling and disposing of approximately 218 tons of cake sludge per month. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for up to five years. The contractor must have a New York State Part 364 Waste Transporter Permit and provide proof of liability insurance. • The contractor will be required to provide a 30-yard receptacle at all times to supply continuous containment for the owner. • The contractor will be responsible for all costs associated with loading and removing sludge from the site. • The contractor will be required to provide documentation of the disposition of each load of sludge removed from the site. • The contractor will be paid based on the actual tonnage of sludge hauled from the site and deposited at approved facilities.
