Description
The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking a contractor to construct a pre-designed multiplex at the Pine Ridge Hospital in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. The project involves building a multiplex to provide housing for hospital staff. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, supervision, tools, permits, transportation, quality control, personal protective equipment (PPE), coordination with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), construction permits, incidental design, travel, and insurance and associated expenses necessary to perform the work. The project is expected to take 730 calendar days to complete, and the contractor must commence work within 10 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed.
• The project includes all work shown in the Plan Set and Specifications for the Pine Ridge Multiplex construction package.
• The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision required to accomplish the work.
• The contractor shall provide a one-year warranty from the time of substantial completion of the multiplex.
• The contractor shall be responsible for securing the work site and ensuring safety for all workers.
• The contractor shall submit a detailed schedule, in Gantt chart form, to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for approval within 14 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed.
