BL139-25 Resurfacing of Residential County Roads on a Term Contract

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Resurfacing of Residential County Roads on a Term Contract for the Department of Transportation. The contract will be an "Open End” type to provide for the requirements of Gwinnett County on an as-needed basis. The work will be divided into six sections, and the contractor must meet or exceed the production requirements and deadlines for each section. The contractor will be required to perform a minimum of 70% of the actual resurfacing paving work included in the Schedule of Items for each section. Key responsibilities include: • Resurfacing of residential county roads • Patching and milling of roads • Adjustment of manholes and water valve boxes • Installation of traffic signs, barricades, and other traffic control devices • Maintenance of records and provision of complete records to Gwinnett County and auditors • Compliance with all applicable Federal regulations, including the Davis-Bacon Act • Performance of work in accordance with the Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, Construction of Roads and Bridges, 2021 Edition.
