Description
The City of Fayetteville is seeking a qualified construction contractor to perform bridge repairs on three municipal bridges located on Hawley Lane, Filter Plant Drive, and Campbell Avenue. The work includes concrete underside repairs with hydro‑demolition and latex‑modified concrete overlay on the Hawley Lane bridge, epoxy overlay, sand‑sealer, joint caulking, and rip‑rap installation on the Filter Plant Drive and Campbell Avenue bridges. The contract will be a fixed‑price (EJCDC C‑520) agreement with a firm 90‑day construction schedule, performance and payment bonds equal to the contract price, and a 5 % bid security. The City has small‑business goals of 40 % spend with local small firms and a 10 % SDBE participation target. Bids are due August 20, 2026, after a pre‑bid conference on July 7, 2026 (optional).
